IT Service Engineer - Aviation Software (all genders)
In our "Aviation" division, we are looking for communicative IT career starters. As a successful candidate, you can expect, among other things, varied topics, national and international customers, and various software products configured to create customized customer solutions.
What you can move with us:
- With your expertise, your primarily responsibilities will be to provide technical IT-Support to our customers during the implementation, installation, and configuration phases. This includes customer support for the use and maintenance of our Industry 4.0 software product family
- Together with your colleagues in a cross-functional team, you will support a close customer base with specific contact persons
- In doing so, you will provide important technical support regarding the customer's production-critical infrastructure
- You will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of complex updates and analyze possible faults in our customer systems via remote maintenance in close cooperation with our development department
- You will actively shape the conceptual design and implementation of process and product improvements
- We can provide the opportunity to work in our offices in Atlanta or Singapore after a successful orientation period at our headquarter in Aachen / Germany
What you bring along:
- Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or a degree in the field of (business) informatics, mathematics or similar
- Career starters are welcome, 2-3 years of professional experience e.g. as IT-Support Specialist, IT Customer Support or Software Support Engineer, are a plus
- Confident in working with Windows and Linux operating systems and Office applications
- Experience in BATCH/PowerShell programming, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases (SQL) and cloud experience is an advantage
- First experiences with remote maintenance connections and virtual machines are a plus
- Customer centric work ethic, good communication skills, and a solution- as well as customer-oriented work style
- Good German language skills, (min. B2) as well as fluent written and spoken English skills
