Leadership and collaboration: In this role as Technical Team Lead (all genders), you will take the technical lead together with another technical team lead and support a cross-functional team in designing, developing and maintaining high-quality optimisation solutions for software systems. You will provide constructive feedback, promote a culture of continuous improvement and act as an interface to other teams in the business unit.
Further development and innovation: You further develop our existing optimisation products and actively help shape the future vision of our solutions. In customer projects, you will analyse requirements and implement them with your team.
Project insights: Current projects include, for example, the optimisation of supply chain processes, the development of algorithms for train load planning and innovative approaches to resource optimisation.

What you bring along:

Education and experience: A degree in computer science, mathematics / operations research or business informatics. Professional experience as a software developer, software architect or full stack developer is desirable.
Development opportunities: Initial experience in technical leadership is desirable, but you will also be given the opportunity and support to develop yourself in this area.
Technical skills: Solid knowledge of high-level languages (Kotlin / Java, Python) as well as basic knowledge of databases, GIT, XML, XSD, Docker and Kubernetes or willingness to learn them.
Analytical skills: The ability to see through complex issues, get to the point and communicate clearly.
Language skills: Good to very good written and spoken German and English.
Flexibility and willingness to travel: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel up to 15%.
